Food was delicious and highly recommend. Grove park came recommend from friends. Service was terrible, Brought my wife and daughter to celebrate launch of a new business. we ordered our first course to come out first then the main. I didn't except to keep time, someone Brought out the main first with cold steak one one meal and cold fried on the other. One would assume this person had seen the high ticket time and ran it as they should. I had to walk around to find our server to inquire on the first order for our daughter and my wifes shrimp. They was brought out. To the credit of the server and management the mgr did stop by the table to ask how everything was. At which point is was irrelevant as it happened. At no point did the server even attempt to replace or even heat up cold/older items. The bill came full price. Very disappointing, I guess being new to the area only ten minutes to this restaurant I had higher expectations. I would still recommend all menu items at high qualit
The interior is dimly lit to make it a more romantic setting. And the patio area was nice but walled off from the view of the trees. The pretzel bites were pretty looking with the unique folding however guinness beer mustard that goes with it is watery and doesn't stick well to the bites. My wife said her gin cocktail was really good and well balanced. I had the James Parker burger and it felt like just mush in my mouth. There wasn't any distinct flavors. The meat itself was mushy, with the huge amount of goat cheese and tomato onion jam, followed with a soggy bun there was zero texture and it was very unpleasant to eat. My wife had chili and Mac and cheese and said the chili wasnt very good but the Mac and cheese was average. The food did come out very fast I would have rather it taken longer and the quality to be better. We most likely will not be going back.
