Grotto Ristorante

Very disappointed with the mediocre food we had. First, the table had sauce hardened onto it, and had not been cleaned but was set with small plates and utensils in napkins. The caprese tasted like thick slabs of hothouse tomatoes, with equally thick and hard slabs of mozzarella on top. There was no balsamic to be found. The other food was ok at best. Service was poor and inattentive. Nobody came by to check on things or ask if we wanted more wine. We will not return. We totally enjoyed the old Grotto, when it was overlooking the pool and shark tank. The website is misleading, as it has relocated within the Nugget and no longer faces that area.

This place was nice. Went at happy ???? hour! They have bang for your buck during that time!

The seafood was delicious! So fun to sit by their large fish tank and watch the exotic fish go by as we ate. Our friend is in a scooter. They were so lovely. They let her drive it right to the table, they took it away when we ate then brought it back at the end. Thankful for their thoughtfulness.
