First Time I'm leaving a review. I just had to do it this time. My son and I found this place Sunday Night on google, so we wanted to try it. All the other tables received there water except us, Why should I have to ask for it? Then we placed our order and waited 35 mins to get our food. Really? 35 mins? I took us 10-15 mins to eat but 35 mins to get the food? Who runs a restaurant business this way? The food was NOT worth the wait, I can assure you that. 25 mins into waiting for the food, the waitress stops us on the way to the bathroom to let us know that they do NOT have any shawarma. Really? After getting the Check, I notices that they added an 18% tip on the bill for a party of two. Are they allowed to do that? And on top of that, they charge you 4% to pay your bill with a credit card. Hey Owner, from one business owner to another, Get your act together if you want to stay in business. Good Luck (You will need it with the way you run it)
First time I went here, it was near the height of the pandemic (when you had to cross the LI border just to get outdoor dining). Food was good, as was the service. Almost a year later, things seem to have taken a turn. My Schnitzel Burger and fries were fine, but my girlfriend's chicken was dry. I also don't remember them charging a credit card fee (I get why restaurants do this, but it's still irritating and counter-productive in the longterm.) The most galling thing though was that this restaurant helped THEMSELVES to a 15% gratuity! In all my years, I've never seen a business charge an automatic tip. I think I would've been well within my right to complain, but I didn't want to make a scene or appear cheap. Also, business owners: Please stop playing Fox News on your TVs; unless you want to alienate a huge chunk of your customer base. Thank you.
Grill time has the best food if you’re looking for something healthy and fresh. The staff is very kind even on really busy days like Sunday where the food does take a little longer to come out because they are packed. My favorite dish is the beef Shish or shawarma which always runs out the fastest that’s when you know it’s good. I really love this restaurant and if you’re kosher it’s a win win win. Great prices also while everybody has raised there prices since covid they haven’t yet.
