Grill on the Hill

I went with a friend the other day for lunch. I was very disappointed in the food. My Caesar salad was drenched in dressing and I was unable to eat and my friends sandwich was dry and the appetizer was like something out of a carton. We were there a few yrs ago and it was much better. I gave it a two star because scenery was nice and waitress was very nice. Menu disappointing also

My dad and I recently hosted a bridal shower for my sister here. The staff was lovely and the venue was nice but the food was truly terrible. I’m usually pretty easy going about this sort of thing but we paid $35 a person for food that tasted like it had been made early that morning or the night before and was reheated. Very dried out and not really edible honestly. My dad has reached out to the manager and hasn’t gotten any response. I would not recommend hosting an event here, despite the nice hall and the friendly staff. It’s not worth it for the low quality food.

Excellent chicken marsala. Rating would have been a 5 but my dinner companion ordered rice with seasoned black beans with his salmon...both sides were dry without any moisture. The waitress graciously apologized and a Caesar salad was brought to replace the two sides. All in all, good, just not the first impression I hoped it would be. (The salmon was well prepared.)
