Got there around 1:00 and was told there was a 30 minute wait. No big deal. Was seated around 1:35. Ordered our food around 1:45. Our waitress was very personable which was great. However, when an hour had passed and we hadn't received our food, we were frustrated. We had to go and look for our server to ask how much longer our wait was. When she returned she let us know that there were 4-5 orders in front of ours. Due to it being almost three we left and went somewhere else. I understand that it was a busy weekend downtown- but am confused about why it was taking over an hour to get four burgers/fries out. And why was only one order at a time being done? It seemed as though it was understaffed and rather than limiting the amount of tables they were seating, they were filling every table and making people wait over an hour for food. Sadly this isn't our first experience with our food wait time being very long and so we probably won't try again.
Came here while in town for a short time. They advertise a smash burger that is anything but. No crispy edges and the burger patties are half the size of the bun, for the prices they should be ashamed. My husband ordered the hotdog.... It came extremely dried out/ overcooked with a soggy bun and cold chili. He got wings as a replacement and said they tasted old, as of they had been sitting for a while and got re-dropped in the hot grease. My son had a strawberry milkshake and said "well at least they did this right." There are too many other places to eat within walking distance, spent $67 for 3 people and we all left hungry. Server was sweet and she was the only redeeming quality.
Two reasons I'm giving 4 stars not 5. First, when we walked in literally no one was there. I literally had to call the restaurant to get someone to come out to seat us. Second, the tables are all really sticky and felt gross. Besides that the food was great. Skinny fries are A+ but the way they serve them is kind of dumb because they all fall out of the paper onto the table and there's not a good/obvious place to put sauces. Good gluten free bun. A lot of places have very crumbly tasteless buns but theirs was good.
