Greek Islands

All I look for in the restaurants are beautiful spaces, attentive servers, and a generous amount of delicious food. Greek Islands checks all the boxes. The menu is extensive, and while Everything there is for sure worth trying, it's impossible to do in one visit. This time, we went with Taramosalata (cold fishy spread with warm pita. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.), Combination plate (with a bit of all signature dishes - roast leg of lamb, mousaka, dolmades, meatballs, vegetables & potatoes), white fish with lemon olive oil sauce and vegetables, and coffee with baklava, and galaktobouriko. That was a lot of food! And the bread in the basket was so great, too. I couldn't stop until I devoured the whole thing (no regrets, though). Also, I have a friend who exclusively orders lamb when coming to the restaurant because, according to him, "Only Greek people know how to cook lamb properly."

The management and front of house team was so helpful and generous during my visit. I only tried the gyro to go. so i can’t fully evaluate the sandwich but there was enough meat to make 3 or 4 gyros. The atmosphere looks very fun and Super Greek (obviously) Thank you all

My most favorite Greek restaurant in Chicago, if not the US! The food is high quality. The freshness of the seafood requires nothing much to add, just olive oil, salt and lemon! The flaming cheese, octopus, and grilled branzino! We almost swallow everything down to the bones. At the beginning, we munched on so much bread because it was very good and we thought we might not finish the food. But the magic of great food made things happen. Highly recommend and I myself will come back!
