Disappointing gyro. Any restaurant is mostly about the food, bottom line. I haven't been to the area in many years, and since Nick's Gyro that used to be kiddie corner from this place (in the strip mall) was out of business, I had to satisfy my gyro craving and came to Greek Feast. Gyro is simple: pita, meat, tzatziki, white onions, sliced tomato. Easier said than done. It takes skill to do simple food justice. My meat portion was pretty small. Probably the first time that I can remember where I didn't have to eat the meat by itself before I could dive into the sandwich. IYKYK, gyro is usually busting out of the pita. Then red onions. Ok, it's trendy, fine. But tomato chunks. And I mean CHUNKS. Not slices. At least there were enough. The meat while meager, was also dry. Not in the way that they turn up fire on the spit and get you some crispy bits, dry. Just dry as in no juiciness, all the same psuedo brown-gray color, dry. And the pita bread itself was a bit on the day old side, it wa
DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY. I Had guests over to my home, and I ordered $120 worth of food on DoorDash from this restaurant. I was missing a simple dinner salad. I called the DoorDash Driver told me he didn’t get it from the restaurant. I called DoorDash customer service who would not send a new driver with the missing dinner for my guest. I called the restaurant and they blamed DoorDash who blamed them. I offered to pick up the missing salad for my guest, myself, so my guest would have his dinner. The restaurant refused to replace the salad. Awful. I’ll never order from here again.
I had been waiting for so long to try this place. I finally did last night. I simply ordered a gyros and fries to go. I open the sandwich at home and there was BARELY any meat inside the pita. I was so DISAPPOINTED to say the least. The only reason I even offer 2 stars here is that the fries were good and the young lady behind the counter was nice. When I buy gyros at other places in the area I usually can't even finish the sandwich because the meat is so plentiful. Oh well; nothing ventured, nothing gained.
