To me Granite City is a little like an upscale Applebee's with slightly better food. Stopped in for lunch and had an Arnie Palmer and a pot pie. The drink was a miss. I don't get why so many restaurants can't get this simple drink right. The pot pie was a bit salty, and I like salt, but very tasty. Served in a small crock and draped with a nice flaky crust. They had brunch being served so I checked it out. Lots of items to choose from and the dishes looked good. Server was very attentive and friendly. I would go here again and try the dinner menu. Granite City, you are a solid 4 out of 5.
I was visiting my dad and he said the food here was amazing and it didn't disappoint! Loved it and the steak was perfection! Highly recommend!
Really great food. They got my order wrong but they more than made up for it by taking our appetizer off our bill. The seltzer is delicious. Just a fair warning if you decide to eat on the patio be prepared to pick cotton seeds out of all of your food and drinks throughout your meal.
