Goodies

I went to Goodies on 7/15/23 with my granddaughter, we ordered rib tips, baked beans, potato salad, chicken, french fries, and mac & cheese. We waited one hour to dine in once we received our food half of our order came out the macaroni and cheese was cold.The potato salad did not taste good we only received one order of fries, and the fries were very greasy, the customer service was not professional at all. We did not receive our rib tips until halfway finished with our chicken dinner, and once we received our rib tips, they were not cooked all the way they were very rare. . The worker that was there was very mean and nasty. She did not want to give me a refund. She stated that they are not a fast food restaurant which I expected to wait that was not the issue. The issue was the food. I also ordered a brisket sandwich that order was messed up as well. They just brought me out a tray of brisket without the bread It was not a sandwich and they did not bring the fries with it. This was

So I went up here and Order two platter with two side of baked beans also waited on a fresh batch of beans and come home to one of my beans looking old ash whn I call up there and told them my problem the lady seem to have a attitude and my only opt was to get half price on buying another side of baked beans I think not Chris

I've lived about two blocks away from Goodies for a couple years and apologize to myself and them that I've never tried it before today. I went for the first time and was blown away! The employees I talked to were AMAZING. They made doubly sure my order was right, gave me their recommendations, and were so welcoming, courteous, and nice. On top of that, the restaurant interior looked great, I loved the music, and it smelled delicious. I told my wife that even if the food was bad, I would consider coming back. Of course the food was NOT bad--it was delicious! I got a pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich with their sauce, a total of four sides, and two pieces of bread--all for a surprisingly reasonable price. All of it was delicious, especially the brisket, okra, and collard greens. If you're in Mt. Healthy and haven't tried Goodies, don't wait like I did--check it out! I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it and intend to be back SOON!
