Goodfellas Restaurant

We have been coming to goodfellas since we were kids, about 15 years and it quickly became our favorite place to celebrate all of the important occasions in our lives. My husband and I held goodfellas on the highest pedestal, never poor service or bad food. Loved it so much. We couldn't wait to check out the new renovation and he had a birthday recently so I made reservations for a Wednesday night. The new look is stunning, love the downstairs bar area! We did sit upstairs to listen to the live music, his name was Michael and he was very friendly, introducing himself to all of the tables. That's all of the good, now here's what makes me a little bit sad. The charm of the old goodfellas is gone. There's no reference to the old restaurant left in the building, one Tony soprano painting downstairs can hardly carry the "goodfellas" reference in their namesake. One of my favorite parts of eating at this restaurant was the bean salad they'd give you as you first sat down. I've had two babies

This restaurant has delicious food. It’s gourmet but not pretentious. The service is great and the atmosphere beautiful. It has a rooftop that is very pleasant with fans, umbrellas and heaters. We had fried squash blossoms with goat cheese, chicken parm, meatball salad, a stuffed fig dish, beet and pear salad , calamari, antipasto, and fresh peaches in white wine.

We come here for birthday dinner. The price is bit high but the food is great! Especially just come back from traveling and tried different bad food???? The short rib ravioli is really good tho it doesn’t look so pretty, the lamb chop is also tasty, but still a lot of meat remain on the bones can’t get off it????
