When we were leaving the restaurant, the older lady who was taking our payment gave us a lengthy lecture on the importance of tips. Seriously? While tips are optional, I always leave them anyway. I usually round up whatever it says on the receipt to the nearest dollar and then additionally leave some cash for the server. When she saw a small tip on our receipt, she started yelling at us and laughing out loud in front of other costumers and workers. She didn't even give me any time to take the cash out of my wallet. Come on, really?!! Is this the kind of treatment and restaraunt service someone should receive in America? I still left a few extra dollars cash as a tip and asked her to pass them to the server. The food was good as was the server's work, but that lady really needs to work on her poor manners or she will scare all costumers away! Please beware if you are considering visiting this place.
Well we won't be coming back to golden tent: *Manager/Server* Justin ignored us, did not even come to the table to get our order for drinks or appetizers, when I asked for a manager guess who came out? When he looked at me he said out loud *OH no we are not doing this* I tried to bring this up to him he did not want to hear it and started to walk away. I followed him explaining how unprofessional his actions are being a manager, he took our plates from infront of my mother and father in mid bite and told us to get out and to not speak to him that way. If a manager cannot do managerial work, one should not even be in the position one is in. I have 14+ Years Assistant managerial experience 14+ Years Customer Service 14+Years Food Service and safety I can personally say how you handled this situation was very unprofessional, if You *Justin* Can not handle one customer complaint, You have no right to be in the position that you are in. YUMMY!!! This place is AMAZING. The food is so yummy, the vibe is amazing.. and most of it you can get a LOT of food. The dinner price is 18.95, but you can literally get 3 bowls of food for that price! Yummy yummy YUM! Perfect for a date night in Vancouver! ✨
