Golden Plate II

Looks can be deceiving here, it's a small hole in the wall place. The outside looks very rundown. The lot that Golen Plate is in looks completely terrible. But we decided to try it out since the sesame pockets here were supposedly very good, and it did not disappoint! The filler (which we got pork) was delicious and paired very well with the sesame buns. So good I was shoveling it into my mouth by itself when I ran out of buns. We got the Kung pao chicken and the honey walnut shrimp, both which were delicious. Kung Pao was less American tasting than you'd get at some other places and had a rich flavor, while the Shrimp was nice and plump and very very fresh! The egg rolls were just your standard egg rolls. Being a cheap lunch special deal was just extra icing ontop! Golden Plate is definitely our favorite Chinese place so far in the Denver area. Can't wait to come again and try something new. Update: Came back to try the Pan Fried special noodles. It was sooooo good. Sauce was so good

The flavors are immaculate. It's a nice quaint place with its' own style of charm. The staff was friendly and fun. I would rate this place one star just to keep it empty for me!

Super delicious food! Well worth it! And the waiter was really friendly! All-together, a great experience! I had the mango chicken, and it was phenomenal! My wife got the orange chicken, and it was delicious too! Great restaurant, and the proportions were really good for the price!
