I wouldn't recommend coming to this place. I can understand a staffing shortage but it's ridiculous. You had to complain about a refill in order to get one. The food was decent. There were hairs in the spoons at the dessert table. Heck the ice cream machine was low on mix for vanilla. As broke as McDonald's ice cream machines.
This review is specifically for the Universal City location. Lately the hot food is dry and cold, specially the soups, I asked the manager if they have fresh soup and he said no today until tomorrow, it was 3:00 pm., the potatoes on the beef stew were very old, dark colored . Last time it was a hair on the dressing, I told to the waitress and one of the removed the hair with a napkin and leaves the dressing on the salad bar. The steaks looks old and tasted like liver, they saved in a container with water and just warm it. There is several things wrong in this place. The restrooms are dirty . Very poor management. This things happened the last four times I’ve been there. Definitely we are not going back there.
This place used to be great, but now it's gone down hill. We paid 50 bucks for me my husband and 3 toddlers, and there was literally nothing to eat. What they had to choose from was limited. They need to add more to the menu, and actually have it fresh. I wanted mashed potatoes and it's like they waited for me to scrape the pan to put more out. Waste of money, just cook at home. I didn't even want to go here to begin with. But my husband wouldn't sthu! So we went just to be disappointed
