Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

We decided to eat here tonight, all in all the food was good kind of expensive yet is all you can eat. We enjoyed our meal and had a enjoyable evening.

Well, one first thing I had was the fish. There was a mountain of it! I took from top. Unfortunately, some of it was cold. The only shrimp they had was breaded. They were so small! More bread than shrimp. They were still good though! The cashier was very friendly! Our server/busser was wonderful! Tipped her $20!!! The macaroni and cheese looks good and cheesey. Problem was it was quite watery! Ran off plate when walking to table.

About $20 (not including tip) for Friday night dinner. Pretty standard American buffet fare. Everything that was supposed to be hot was hot, and everything that was supposed to be cold was cold. My med-rare steak was hard to eat, but guess what, it’s a buffet, so when something isn’t right, you get to spin the wheel again. Medium steak was perfect. Popcorn shrimp was killer. Ribs. Fell. Off. The. Bone. Compliments to the grill master. My advice would be to go earlier than 6:30. When things ran out, they didn’t get replaced. So no carrot cake (my favorite dessert). Thankfully there were dozens of other tasty desserts to choose from. You’re not going to leave hungry. This was my first time at a Golden Corral, and I wasn’t disappointed. It reminds me of Ryan’s Steakhouse, back when those were a thing. I would absolutely return. But it’s going to take me a few weeks to get out of this food coma first!
