Golden Chicken

Absolutely the worst customer treatment I've experienced in a long time. Ordered popcorn shrimp, received jumbo instead which I do not like. The manager first left me on hold for over 10 minutes, then was hung up on. Called back and was put on hold again for similar timeframe only to hear him state in a loud voice to the person speaking with me he was too busy to deal with it and would call back later. Another 20 min go buy before a call is received and I was told if I wanted the replacement meal it would be over an hour at best because they were too busy. In addition to this,they wouldn't refund my purchase for the wrong meal and instead offered in store credit which is not what I requested. At that time,, they refused to acknowledge that the employee made an error when taking the order. The remedy was to have the owner to call me when he gets back in town 2 days from now. The one correct meal that I did receive had soggy fries and overly crisp chicken. Do yourself a favor and avoid

Ordered a combo bucket of chicken and beer battered fish. Chicken was excellent but wasn’t sure what to expect with the fish, but wow, what a pleasant surprise. My wife and I are still talking about how good that fish was. Not at all greasy and as good as most any Friday night fish fry. The fact that our order was ready to pick up in no time was just a cherry on top. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back.

Supper Club taste with none of the Supper Club style. Excellent chicken and fries and nice people but that's where it ends. From the downed tree and potholes in the lot, to the dirty bathroom, to the broken Pepsi machine, to the paper menu taped to the counter, atmosphere rates negative stars. Still, you know the only reason a spot like this could stay open is with one great food item. And here it's the chicken. Recommended.
