Goldee's Barbecue

Wow, worth every dollar I spent! Beef Ribs were like butter, sausage had great flavor and snap, brisket had a wonderful bark that was out of this world! But the best thing on the menu was the bread pudding! Worth every minute of the forty-five minute wait in line and they had free bottle water while I waited in line. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids running around, the two little girls in line next to me told their dad they should come to Goldees every weekend! Parking: They have overflow parking when It gets really busy

Goldee’s Barbecue- it’s worth the wait! I got there at 9:00AM on a Friday and ate at noon (restaurant opens at 11). Nothing was sold out when we ordered. Probably 50 people in line prior. Beef rib, pork rib, brisket, chicken, sausage- we kind of needed to try everything. Haha. Great flavors across the board!! The potato salad and grits were also good. And you need the banana pudding!! Thanks Goldee’s, I can see why you just shot up in the rankings!!

Another in a growing list of great bbq restaurants in Ft Worth. This one should be at or near the top if your going anytime soon. We decided to get the dinosaur beef rib here. They're so big, but Goldee's smoked them to a tender perfection. The brisket was melt in your mouth delicious. Smoked with a great salt and pepper rub. The ribs were juicy and tender and the sausage had a good flavor and snap. Their homemade bread was good as were the 2 sides of coleslaw and cheese grits. We decided to try their banana pudding which was top notch and they threw in a bread pudding which we thought was a little dry. All the employees were great and patient as we went through the line. Goldee's is a must for us to return to. If you haven't been, make and take the time to eat some of the best bbq in the state.
