Service: 10/10 Very nice lady and excellent service Cleanliness: 10/10 Everything was spotless, smelled great and clean Staff: 10/10 The lady who served us was very polite and professional. She was also willing to answer questions about the culture. Atmosphere: 10/10 Very nice, although it was considered higher end compared to the average restaurant in Addis, it still had the feel and made me really homesick for Ethiopia. Busy: 2/10 There was only one other couple there when I was there, I came at 11:30am right when they opened Value: 6/10 The prices were kinda high, but that's probably due to availability, and there's only a handful of Ethiopian restaurants in the area. Overall: 10/10 Highly recommend this place for authentic Ethiopian cuisine, friendly atmosphere and just an amazing place to try something new if you've never had injera or this type of food. Much love to the owners አፈቅርሃለሁ
I called in to order to go at 8:20. I was told they were not taking to go orders, even though they close at 9pm. I was 5 minutes away from the restaurant so I said that I would come in to eat and then I was told that the cook was finished for the night. Perhaps they should change their close time to reflect when the kitchen closes to avoid this type of situation occurring.
I ordered pick up. There was hair in my food and called to tell the store that I was on my way back and wanted a refund. The food had not been touched and I was bringing it back. Selam, the cashier was very rude and instantly went to saying how I left the store and she wasn’t refunding me despite me not touching or trying to keep the food. I get there and the door is locked during their open business hours which it wasn’t locked when I went to pick up initially, only after I called. She comes to unlock the door and starts asking where is the hair. I show her THREE TIMES where the hair is and she keeps saying she doesn’t see it. I showed her the picture and video I took. I have bright orange hair and she has brown and black. So she tries to sneakily wipe the hair off as if she wasn’t right in my face. Then after going back and forth with me for about 5 minutes, she starts yelling “you just want your money back, you just don’t want the food” um yeah..because it has hair in it and if you
