GO Bird

Great chicken. Comparable to Zaxbys and to be honest, I prefer it for the most part. Fresh, not overcooked. Thick portions too. The fries are really great too with just enough seasoning to stand out. JJ is always pleasant and as affable an employee as I have seen at any place dealing with the public. The spot isn't too far from my office so I expect to visit these guys on the regular.

Stopped by Go Bird for lunch and ordered the #3. The chicken tenders were seasoned well and extremely tender. Simply put, Delicious! The fries were cooked well, nicely seasoned, and crispy crunchy! I would recommend this establishment to anyone. Everything inside and out was well maintained and very clean. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. What more could I ask for? Great people, clean eating, fast service, and absolute Astoundingly Awesome Food!

GO Away Bird! Despite the 4.2 overall score, I didn't have high expectations for Go Bird. Not for any reason in particular, but just because I didn't believe the chicken at a place that sold only chicken tenders would be that good (Zaxby's). That being said, the tenders, although on the small side, were decent. Hot and crispy, but could've used a little more seasoning. However, from that point on, it was all downhill. Fries tasted like baked Oreida fries, cole slaw had no flavor, and while the bread was nicely toasted, who really wants the toast? The hot sauce was too vinegary, and to charge basically $8 and not even include a drink is robbery. They also do not carry honey mustard, which, I don't know of another place that sells chicken tenders and DOESN'T have honey mustard. On the flip side, the place was very clean inside and the staff was friendly, but I will be surprised if this place is still around 2 years from now.
