Giovanni's Pizza & Pasta

Giovanni’s has the pizza I dreamt about when I left Pittsburgh. The perfect combination of fresh stretchy cheese and homemade sauce with their perfectly baked dough/crust is unforgettable. Their pizza isn’t all that’s good- they also have great sides and hoagies.

We love giovanni’s pizza and pasta and have had it for years but this is the first time I’m a bit disappointed. There were two cherry tomatoes in my salad. One of them had a big green spot on top of the tomato. I look close and it’s mold.. As a pregnant woman, I feel more cautious with the food I eat. Just didn’t think I would have to be with giovanni’s. Lesson learned. Always check your food before you eat ????

So, their pizza is pretty bad. I got a pineapple pizza delivered today (I know, I know, lots of people hate pineapple pizza. I love it ????). Anyway, some slices had a single piece of pineapple on them, and some had no pineapple on them. No slice had more than one pineapple chunk. I called to complain and the woman said "That's just how our pineapple pizza is." Anyway, it was a waste of $.
