Came here during ACEN. It was walking distance from the con center. It was able to accommodate our group of 8 people. The beer selection was good. I ordered the Calamari and the meat deep dish pizza. Both were delicious. I never had deep dish pizza before and was happy to experience it. The Calamari had fried lemon slices that surprisingly worked very well.
First time in Chicago and was dying to dry Chicago deep dish pizza. After looking online, I found Giordano's and the reviews looked promising. Although dining in can take a long time due to the long cook time, they offer a convenient order ahead for take out so your pizza is ready at a certain time. We picked up the pizza and brought I to our hotel room, expecting it to be somewhat subpar due to not having it fresh. However, it was AMAZING! The cheese, sauce, pepperoni, and decadent crust went together so well. Their small pizza was enough for 3 of us. I can't wait to go back!
What a great pizza and they delivered to our hotel. It was a little bit pricey but it was worth the money. I would recommend one pizza if it's just two people a small pizza is plenty.
