The restaurant seems a odd fit with a golf pro shop. Italian food is heavy after playing 18 holes. Maybe they want a different type of customer.
We had a fabulous meal at Gino's Vino on the Green at Crystal Falls golf course to celebrate a birthday. Gino is very welcoming and no request is to big or to small. He will personally see to your every need, including creating a custom kids meal for us. The food was amazing! The pastas are handmade along with the delicious sauces (that Alfredo sauce is so good) and the steak was cooked perfectly. Everything ordered - from escargot, calamari, salads, gnocchi, veal parmigiana, steak and more were delicious. We will definitely be back! And please note, you do NOT have to be a member of the golf course in order to dine here, and it is located before the gated sections of the Crystal Falls neighborhood so anyone is welcome!
Dining room was a mess. The little girl working never acknowledged us being in the dining room. We had to go to the bar to order, she had no idea what kind of wine they had, when we finally got to a wine she had no idea where a wine opener was or even how to use it. It was 12:30 before a simple grab and go taco was put on the buffet (I had been there for 45 minutes at this point. Oh and the wine pour was maybe 4 oz... My friend and I had 2 glasses of wine each and I had one taco and the bill was 45.00. Also I had to go to the bar and ask for a plate and then back to the bar to ask for silverware and a napkin. In the end the 1 taco tasted fine.
