Had a meatball slice, meatball was excellent, crust phenomenal, sauce a little too acidic for my taste Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More
Good food nice selection only issue I have is when you order an entree and it comes with pasta. The pasta you can literally count on the plate. A box of pasta costs $1 and you’re giving pasta where you count the pieces. You can do better than that!!! This time my wife had Chicken Marsala and the sauce was reddish brown not your usual deep brown color was also thin and not tasty We mentioned this to the owner and after taking my money stated he would speak to the cook what should have happened was speak with the cook first and even ask to see the leftovers with the sauce and then ask for the money Not looking for a free meal in any way shape or form but for $22 make the customer feel that you’re genuinely sorry this happened plus after the waitress delivered the meal to he table we never saw her again until we asked for the check that’s right we asked for the check not the other way around
I don’t go to Umberto’s for personal reasons from a past bad experience. I moved back to my hometown after having moved away about 20 years ago and was appalled by how I was treated my Umberto’s and had to find a different place to get Italian food. Glad I gave this place a try. We sat down the first time and had a nice waitress and food was good. We got takeout today and food was just as good. Why am I going to fight for parking and wait for a table to go to Umberto’s when they are rude and monopolizing all the business in town? This place is now in our regular ordering cycle.
