Gino's Prime & Surf

They start you out with peppers in oil and bread. I ordered the 16oz Rib Eye (no photo) they cooked it just the way I asked...charred and medium rare, a Caesar Salad and a twice baked potato rounded it out. It was all very good. The only down side to the evening was the bread pudding was too sweet for me (but my husband loved it). The service was great...we didn't feel rushed...we had a great time.

I went with my friend in town from Tennessee. She was from the Midwest originally, so of course knew about Gino's from Harvey that closed. We went at 4 pm and probably a bad idea because the menu prices double after 3pm. For real!! I asked if I could get prime rib sandwich I saw on the lunch menu on line. Waitress said yes but the price would be higher because it was dinner hours. They put on more meat for the "dinner price increase"on the sandwich. Over done and fatty. (Never asked how I wanted the prime rib cooked.) $ 14 dollar lunch sandwich that went to $28 because it was 1 hrs after lunch. Their marinated peppers are AWESOME and they sell them to go as well. Sent the sandwich back and got two jars of peppers to take home. ???? The waitress was very nice. No issues with service or cleanliness.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING... I'll highly recommend them for you and your family. It is quite pricey, but well worth EVERY PENNY!!! My wife Tammy and I went there for our first anniversary, it was also our first time there. We are definitely going to be back. Our server Carrie was excellent. She was on top of her game and was very energetic. She catered to our every need and the food was superb. She even took our food and placed in to go containers. We were overall very pleased with our experience !!!!
