Gino's Pizza & Pasta

Had the caprese Flatbread, shrimp spaghetti a la vodka, and lemon mascarpone. Carafe of chianti to wash it down. Our server Dylan was very friendly and didn't rush us. We had a relaxed evening with delicious food. Our service was quick and friendly. The ambience was fantastic. It was renovated recently and has a very modern, upscale aesthetic without being too expensive. Parking: Great parking!

I never leave reviews but the manager at Gino’s earned it! I work in food service and am very understanding of mistakes and aware of my own errors as a customer. My boyfriend and I went to Gino’s for dinner after dying to try it for months. We ordered calamari, salad, and garlic knots for appetizers and they were pretty good. I ordered a build your own pasta. The pasta menu I thought was a little confusing, and I thought I ordered angel hair with shrimp and plain vodka sauce. I was brought the penne a la vodka, which has peas and prosciutto in it. I don’t eat pork. I looked at the menu again assuming it was my fault, but decided to ask for them to remake it because I believe it was a misunderstanding between me and the waitress. I was very nice and just asked if it would be possible for them to remake it without the pork. We went to Gino’s for the first time and we were blown away! The pizza was amazing! I lived in NJ for 5 years and would go into NYC often to have pizza and Gino’s hands down is better than all of the NY pizzas I’ve had. I ordered the Bianca pizza and it was out of this world!! My husband and son shared a medium buffalo chicken and they loved it. My 2 year old ate up all the fries. Dylan was our server and he was fantastic! He was on top of everything refilling drinks, when we asked he provided great suggestions on what to get and was super sweet to my family and I. Thank you for the top notch service, Dylan! We will be asking to sit in your section again! We had such a great meal and service at Gino’s I had to tell the owner how much we loved it. We will definitely be back often and will bring our extended family when they come to visit.
