This place absolutely nails it! We went back to back nights because it was so good. From the standard chicken parm, to the veal chops, to a linguine with white clam sauce, each dish was delicious and great quality. Worth every penny. The veal was tender and prepared / cooked perfectly! The garlic rolls are to die for. Probably one of the top 3 I've ever had. The right density and amount of crispness. Topped with garlic butter...oh yeah! Even the salad was spot on. A sprig of romaine with an amazing dressing and crumbled blue cheese. The balsamic had low acidity and worked well with the other ingredients. This is a definite must try Italian restaurant! You won't be disappointed! Danielle and Helen behind the bar were first rate for service and casual conversation.

Update after 2nd visit: My first time eating at Gianni's was, well you can read about it in detail below. I thought I found Italian heaven right here in SoFlo. After looking forward to returning and having another perfect meal experience, I was shocked at the difference in literally everything. Whereas the service was (I think I used the word impeccable) the first time we went, tonight the waitress made me feel like I was taking her away from something. She was the opposite of attentive, polite, and hospitable. The food (other than the bread) was quite a few levels below our last visit. The spaghetti had watery sauce with chunks of tomatoes. The meatballs had "pieces" of something in them that was not chewable. The veal was good but not as thin as I like or or asked for. Goes to show you, you must experience places more than once to see what they're consistent at. May return, but certainly not as excited to as I was before tonight. Not a 5 star restaurant, but maybe a 3.5 -4 Without a

My family and I came here on a Wednesday night and thank goodness we had made a reservation because this place was packed! And rightfully so because Gianni’s is amazing! This is definitely going to be our go-to Italian restaurant from now on. The garlic knots and bread come first and they are incredible. Not pictured is the large fresh salad that comes with your entree. We ordered the chicken Gianni special, linguine with white clam sauce, penne vodka with chicken and veal Parmesan. Everything was so delicious and reasonably priced considering the massive portions you receive. And last but certainly not least, our server Bill was awesome! He was super attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back! 2 months later: Back again!! We had yet another delicious meal… chicken Francese and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. This place does not disappoint!
