Gen Kai Sushi

I am a long time customer but since Covid been using delivery and was looking forward to enjoying in-house dining. What a disappointing experience. First, they sat me at the tight corner of the sushi bar even though it was 5:45 pm so sushi bar was half empty. Then I noticed that no edamame was offered and no fruit after the meal either. The sushi chefs looked like unhappy office workers waiting for their shift to end. The server kept trying to remove my plate before I was finished, guess I wasn’t eating fast enough…place was still half empty so maybe she was trying to keep busy or maybe she was just a B. The food is still good but might as well do take out and skip the insults. I will not subject myself to this kind of treatment ever again. I was looking for good food in a fun pleasant and friendly environment, like the pre-Covid days but now I will look around for a better dining experience where I not made to feel like an intruder.

Great sushi and sashimi, have been going since I was 15 or 16 and they've been the go to ever since. I like the shrimp boat"not on the menu" and the deep friend sweet shrimp head w the sweet shrimp sushi ????, also Robert roll, Monica, sushi burrito everything is great

Vegetarian roll with the sweet potato (add cream cheese) omggggg So delicious! We ended up ordering another one, it was so good! Thank you Gen Kai for top quality fish and sushi. Can't wait to come visit again.
