Gauchos Gourmet Market

I received a promotion in my e-mail for a free desert for my Birthday. I signed up for their rewards program when they first opened. After having a meal with my wife, I tried to claim my reward only to be told that they did not honor rewards. I was told that they no longer do rewards and that I had to claim it at their SW area store. I have never been, nor did I ever sign up for rewards at their SW store. This is a form of misleading advertising used to deceive consumers into coming to their business. If you receive this or any other reward from them, do not fall for it. It is a clear gimmick. This type of deception will keep me away from ever going back. Other great businesses in Miami Lakes that do not use gimmicks like this will benefit from my future business.

This is the second time I have had an issue with my order at Gauchos. I walked in and placed an order to go. When I got home, I noticed that my 6 oz steak looked small. It was under three ounces. On other occasions, I've received the incorrect order as well. For what this restaurant charges for food, I expected better quality and quantity.

As a market I could give them the five stars but for a dining experience I prefer to be waits on while I’m sitting at my table and not ordering my food at the register as If I’m at Burger King and taking a seat :)
