Gages Steak House

Great food. Great atmosphere. Our waiter was very attentive and worked hard to make sure everyone got what they wanted. He made great food suggestions for my vegan friends.

INCREDIBLE. Just went here for our anniversary. The food was incredible. My husband got the ribeye and I had the salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. The twice baked potatoes are to DIE FOR. And the dessert!? The Crème Brûlée was the best I ever had and I still cant stop thinking about it. Love this steakhouse! Our server Mike was so attentive and hospitable. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

My husband I was traveling back home and stopped in Guthrie. The locals recommended this place to us as a must for dinner. We had just gotten engaged and after hearing the good word we went straight there. They were steady with a private party in one side and open to the public on the other side. When we were greeted we were told the place was already full from reservations only. That’s understandable in today’s world. I own 3 places myself. I wasn’t upset until I checked online and they are accepting reservations every 15 minutes for the entire night. You turn away a couple at the door but accepted the ones ahead of us and those that go online immediately and place a reservation. I don’t know if we didn’t fit the aesthetics of the environment, not dressed appropriately, a mixed couple. Lots of scenario’s come to mind. Now that is what is unacceptable. We decided to leave Guthrie and go elsewhere. I’ll also let my own circle/fellow veterans know as well.
