Want to worry that your silverware hasn't been washed and you may get a communicable disease? This is the place! We came here at the recommendation of Firestone two blocks away. It looked like it was empty, @8 am. We should have sought another breakfast restaurant. We ordered breakfast taco plates. My order was wrong, but the friendly cashier came with two more tacos. The shredded beef was dry. I took the least dirty flatware and wiped it off. We won't be back. When we arrived, there was no music and several men working. There were a handful of folks working on their computers. "A Pirate's Life for Me" was a game playing over and over.
Beat the heat on the 4th and went to Fuzzy's and sat on the patio with the most perfect misters I have ever experienced. We split an order of nachos and each had a margarita which was excellent and it was on special because it was Margarita Monday. The nachos were awesome, be sure to ask for jalapenos because they don't put them on unless you ask . The total before tip was under $18. We were having so much fun we skipped going to see the fireworks. Saw Fireworks off the highway driving the drive home, so not a total loss????
We used to enjoy coming here but today's visit was less than stellar. They are sacrificing quality to save a buck it seems. The queso tasted grainy, almost like a powder mix or something, it was truly awful and the pork nachos I ordered were covered in that queso, but also included a free bone! Would have done serious damage had I not noticed it before taking that bite. And the final straw was my very dry and almost overcooked fish taco, very... chewy. We won't be back and I don't think we'll be missed, it seems whoever owns this establishment typically only replies to the "glowing" reviews that boost them up.
