Funny Noodle

I gave two stars because the people working were very nice. I don't like giving bad reviews but the food was not good. We ordered a ramen and a pho. There barely was a detectable flavor in either broth. It was a little shockingly bad to be honest.

At least their name is accurate, bc it sure is laughable how bad this ramen was. My girlfriend and I got the Funny Chicken and Miso Pork ramen, and though the Chicken and Pork were fine in themselves, the noodles and broth were the most bland, sad, lacking of flavor noodles and broth I've ever had out of a noodle dish. It's telling that when we tried each other's broth bc we both thought ours didn't taste like anything, we both thought they tasted the same, like nothing. It's more akin to Akron's tap water than it is a broth. The service itself was quick enough, no longer than 10 minutes, but would I ever go back here again? Not a chance. If you're looking for flavorful ramen, take a few steps down the street and go to Cilantro & Thai, they serve an amazing ramen.

Funny Noodle is SO GOOD. This time, I got the Pho with Brisket, Broccoli and Brussels Sprouts, and spicy Cucumber salad. The brisket is amazing and so flavorful, the Brussels sprouts are always a go-to, and the spicy cucumber salad is just the right amount of spicy. Portions are always generous for the price, too. Funny Noodle is one of my favorite places to eat after work or school and I’m so glad they are open again. Keep up the amazing food and service! Vegetarian options: They’ve got some really tasty vegetarian options that are filling and flavorful. Dietary restrictions: I am gluten intolerant and they have so many options for me! I can always trust that they will have delicious food that is safe for me to eat! Love this place.
