Fujin Ramen Restaurant

Server was nice, new and not properly trained, I have been to many Ramen places from West LA to downtown and inland. The ramen was average (not necessarily a bad thing). $4.50 for small French fries? They are already charging on the higher side foe their ramen and still want to charge you $1.50 for spicy oil which they bring to tou in a 2 ounce plastic to go condiment lid, very tacky. I'm surprised by the high reviews but I guess the local population doesn't have a good point of reference like downtown or West LA customers do. A far superior ramen would be Tatsu Ramen yet they have a rating in the upper 3s. Tatsu though, is as busy as InNOut.

Like the firm thin noodle. The appetizer fried chicken is favorful, juicy inside, and slighty crispy on the outside. It has the right portion. Soup base is deep. Staffs are very friendly. Not too busy when we visited at Sunday lunch time.

Fujin ramen at West Covina. It’s located inside HK plaza about 10min away from 10fwy. Food is decent. I had the Fujin ramen and my family had the tonkasu shio ramen. You get to choose from a list of free and premium(pay) topping to add to your ramen. The ramen soup base is a bit on the salty side but still manageable. Calamari is also decent. Service staff was quick and friendly. We reserved a seat using Yelp but when we arrived about 1/2 of the tables are still available.
