Fruition Restaurant

It was a quiet 5pm Dinner on Sunday. We went with the tasting menu and went through a food journey. Delightful!

The service was phenomenal, the restaurant itself is sooo charming and pretty, and the food was absolutely out of this world. The scallops changed me as a person.

I’ve been to this restaurant before the pandemic and was really impressed. This visit unfortunately did not impress. Not a bad thing, but there were so many service staff and there was never a crumb on the table or an empty plate sitting for long. We decided to do the chefs tasting menu which was a five course meal, our server assured us that it would be things that we wouldn’t normally order. Unfortunately all of the courses Lacked luster. There was no crunch element in any of the five courses. It started with a tomato gazpacho with burrata, the best course in my opinion was the “Caesar salad” broccolini. The gnudi was the same texture and we have yet to see a protein such as fish, Proscuitto, aanything. The New York strip was a bit tough and they cut a potato with a cookie cutter and called it a day. Meh. The dessert course looked appetizing except the banana bread visually looks dry. There is no crunch element, it was peanut butter mousse (soft) ice cream that was soft and soft bana
