Friends Buford Grill

Service was good, food was good, just a few mishaps. Served coffee in dirty cups and the ice machine must have had some issues because the ice made all the water taste moldy. Looks like they need to take some time to focus on cleaning/maintenance, but otherwise met expectations. I had the PB&J burger and it was delicious.

OK. As far as food, they get 4 to 5 stars. I've always enjoyed my experience there until tonight. I only had a problem with our waitress. She made a mistake, but blamed me for it. I told her from the beginning that we had a to go order, but I was waiting for one more. I suggested I could give her the one I had right then, but she said I could wait. The wings took a longer than normal time to come to us. I had my meal way before those who ordered wings. Then, the waitress brought our check. My husband reminded her that we had a to go order. Her eyes lit up and she commented that the grill could be closed. It was. I was so upset and told her she should have told us. The restaurant didn't close for another half hour, so we had no idea. I reminded her that I offered to give her the order earlier. And she had the gall to say, "That's on you, mama!" She also said, "You're s.o.l."

I visited the Suwanee location which is no longer around and I loved the concept of this restaurant, I was willing to visit another location when I was back in Georgia and now the I had the opportunity to be in Buford I didn't hesitate to stop here for lunch, friendly staff as I expected and great atmosphere, nice bar area, dining area and patio. I'm a big fan of Friends, til the next one...
