Friendly's

Haven't gone to Friendly's in years but thought it would be a nice nostalgic dinner with the family. It's cleaner than it used to be but the service was absolutely terrible and the food was not good. There was something black stuck to the rim of my drinking glass, my burger was super greasy with barely any sauce, the fries were cold, and my sundae came in a happy ending dish instead of the big dish it was supposed to (they still charged full price but gave half the sundae) and also had a huge chunk of gross tasting ice in the middle of it. Never going again. No more nostalgia for me.

The food was mediocre at best. I lost my key there and called in the next day to see if it was still there. The closing manager was also the opening manager for the next day and seemed to not care at all about it. I asked if they could at least check to see if it was there, and the manager refused and said nobody came to them about a key and apologized but I could tell the apology was insincere. Manager did not even bother to take my number down in case they did find the key. Later that night, we stopped by and it turns out they actually did have my key. Customer service is mediocre and none of the employees really care about the people they are serving. If you are looking for great customer service, this is NOT the place.

This rating is solely about the ice cream. I’ve never eaten here. So with that said! How can you not love Friendlys ice cream. When I see one I make sure to stop and grab some delicious ice cream to go. It’s a shame that the chain is slowly dwindling out. Their ice cream is amazing! The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was clean and don’t pass by without stopping ????
