First time trying after driving by for months. Customer service right off the bat was outstanding. Everyone was so nice. They even gave us samples of their dirty rice and catfish as we waited for our order. We had the chicken, catfish and dirty rice. What can I say…authentic, homemade and delicious comfort food. Feel good, family oriented atmosphere. We will definitely come back for more and recommend it to everyone!
I ordered the lemon pepper chicken wings. They were absolutely delicious. The best I have ever had. This wasn't a poured on powder. They actually squeezed on real lemon juice along with the spices. It was cooked just right, juicy, and full of flavor and the wings were huge. Not the little ones you get at chain restaurants, these were big.
I knew about this place but never had a chance until now to try some of their food. Absolutely incredible fried chicken! Servings are well portioned and goes perfect with a side of sweet tea. I'm going to be back there when they start serving rib cutlets (coming this Friday).
