First time attempting the tasting dinner and it didn't disappoint. All five courses very enjoyable, altho the duck was overcooked (and the lamb under). Dessert ok. Wine pairing superb. Oysters hard yes. Seafood chowder omg. Shrimp dumplings marry me. The music menu is a cool treat. Not a huge fan of the glass block ambiance...weird brightness. Service very good. Will return.
Had the tasting with pairing to celebrate a special occasion and this place didn’t disappoint! Between the two of us we tried essentially everything on the menu and thought everything was fresh, inventive and balanced. Hats off to the som who also cultivated the perfect wine pairings to go along. However, be prepared for a majorly white wine adventure. Kick off sourdough and champagne toast, Take home biscotti, vinyl selection, and exceptional/charismatic service were also nice touches! Hope to come back soon and encourage you to try this even if outside of your comfort zone!
Incredible experience. We booked through Tock and let them know it was my wife’s birthday. They greeted us by asking to take our coats (it was winter) and 2 servers escorting us to our table and pulling the seats out for us. They presented my wife with a birthday card with everyone’s signature from the restaurant and a bread appetizer ready and waiting for us at the table. They also gave us a free glass of champagne to celebrate with right off the bat. After a few minutes they came over with a booklet of their available vinyls - every table gets to choose a vinyl which plays throughout the restaurant. Amazing idea! Now let’s get into the food - we did the chefs menu and everything was spectacular. They ask for any dietary or allergy restrictions then take it from there. Amazing experience and highly recommend! There are a few other restaurants/cocktail bars on the block as well if you’re looking for something more to do before/after dinner while staying in the area.
