Made reservations 3 weeks in advance for 8 people. Specified a sunset view. Arrived and was seated outside around the corner out of view from the sunset. Immediately I went to the manager to ask why we are sitting here when I had specifically asked for a nice sunset view three weeks prior. Manager said all outside rail tables are for 4 only. I told him I asked pacifically for a sunset view with eight people. He said I can’t help you I didn’t take the reservation. The waiter comes to our table and he asked how we are doing and I proceeded to tell him not happy. He said that table over there with the six people are getting ready to leave I’ll ask if you can sit there. I said great that would be good. He came back and told us we were not allowed to move. The manager never came out to see if there is anything he can do to make our experience better. He hid from me the entire time. The waiter was good the food was good. This is the view. Amazing views! Excellent food! Most importantly: top notch service. Becci was our sweet server! Her attention to detail is impeccable. Food was delicious and with her service, the experience was exceptional! I will return to this great restaurant again!
We stopped in for happy hour on New Year's Eve - we really didn't want to leave but had dinner reservations at another restaurant. This 'other' restaurant was also on the beach with similar pricing. In addition to a very cramped environment, poor atmosphere & just a bad vibe, the smell of gasoline was overpowering. We changed tables to no avail, so we left & decided to 'wing it' on New Year's Eve. We called Fresh Catch Bistro & although they did not have available reservations, they said they would try to accommodate us if there was availability at the bar or any no shows! When we arrived, they remembered us from happy hour & welcomed us back :) We were fortunate that a table in the bar had just opened which they immediately cleared & prepped for us! From the hostess to our server & bartender, they not only saved our New Year's Eve - they made it fabulous!!!
