This was our first trip to US from India and obviously we had to try Pizza everywhere we went. Would say out of the 10 diff places we had tried pizza this was definitely the 3rd best (Joe's Pizza NY would be #1 and ColonybGrill at Stampford will be #2) But if you are from this area definitely a must try.
What a great experience! (Note: not the Original Frank Pepe's in New Haven, CT) We were super excited to stop and experience this Legendary Pizza! The ovens are amazing and produced one on my favorite pizza ever. It was so good! Highly recommended. Definitely worth the stop. Can't wait to drive near again.
Nothing beats Frank Pepe’s. I’ve lived in CT for most of my life and this pizza has never lost its magic. Being able to see the staff working on the pizzas made everything feel that much more special. The char on the pizzas is beautiful and perfectly executed. The edges have a nice crisp to them without tasting burnt. The sauce is wonderfully balanced in flavors. Try as many as you can handle!
