Fortune Cookies Restaurant

Its a really nice restaurant in a nice location. We went there for Mothers day. However the service was not up to par. We ordered a large soup but it was delivered to the table in several small bowls. While some of our party received the soup, others did not. So we not sure how large the soup serving was. We were expecting to be served a large bowl of soup, with several smaller cups, so that we could serve ourselves. Moreover, please check and re-check your bill. One of our party ordered a to go order, and the to go order was included in the dine-in check. This meant that the gratuity, which was automatically charged at 18% included the to-go order as well. While it's not a lot of money, the principle of the issue is that the waitress or whoever rang up the check was pretty sneaky about it. Also, the restaurant wasn't that crowded, but whenever we asked for the waitress, she seemed to take a bit of time to get to our table. The food was good, but on principle, I didn't like the way we

I can get dandan noodles a few blocks from home, great stir fried beef. Looking forward to trying the seasonal salted egg crab.

I love this place! Clean, good greeting when we first walk in, to great service from our waiter. For appetizer-wonton red chili oil was ok. The chicken meat was very lean but it was not spicy enough for me. The spicy tofu w/ veggie in the middle had just the right spicy...tasted great & good healthy food. My main dish-Tea Smoked Duck-was also tasted great. The duck meat was lean & the skin was crispy. I put a piece of meat in the center of bread & dipped in the sweet brown sauce...it tasted heavenly!!
