Food was around 3.5 stars, bartender Jenny (sp?) was 100 stars. Typical hipster type vibe. Ok beer selection, but did have some fun whisky &bourbon options. Maple old fashioned was a bit sweet, smoked turkey wrap had a great smoky flavor and I liked the spinach but way too much BBQ sauce. Fries had a nice batter to them. Brussels were done way to quickly so they didn't seem roasted as much as fried. Most were underdone. But the bartender, Jenny, was literally the most genuine, kind, funny, energetic, passionate server I've met in my travels. She works the room. Well without skipping a beat in her service. Hope to see her during my next Indy visit!!
Service was great. Food was good. Beer was OK. Had the Wicked 7 Wheat, fried pickles, Pork + Ale Burger. Got the kids grilled cheese for my daughter; it was made on a hamburger bun. My daughter didn't touch it, but she enjoyed the fries.
Had a lunch date here with my DH, I must say it was very nice. For appetizers, we started with the pow pow shrimp and the Italian beef wrappers which are like beef egg rolls with horseradish cream cheese situation inside, of course the pow pow shrimp could be a version of the bang bang shrimp if you've ever visited Bonefish Grill. As we enjoy these appetizer we also sipped on this patio punch adult refresher that was 60 oz and a heavy hitter for sure. Our main course was rather simple, we had a salad and veggie pizza slice. This particular day was rather hot outside and we chose to dine inside. It was nice and cool it wasn't too crowded the waiter was attentive and the overall visit was very pleasurable. We intend on returning as we were also like to try La Margarita, a Mexican restaurant in the same yard.
