Forever Family Soul Food Restaurant

Unfortunately, I did not take pics, but can attest that the portion sizes are excellent, and the staff pleasant and friendly. For my overall experience the meal was marginal/mediocre in quality and taste compared to the cost of the meal. I ordered the Turkey wings (a bit dry/overcooked - my sister's are superior), cornbread dressing (mine is better) , green beans (overcooked, too soft, flavor was good), and a side of Mac and Cheese (good, a bit salty). The rice and gravy is what really killed this rating. The rice was overcooked and had a starchy film as if it should have been rinsed, or a different cooking method used. Adding their gravy (watery, and mostly fat) made it worse. If I were to go back, I'd insist that they not put the rice on my plate. The restaurant was busy, so I guess it is liked by many, but just did not stand up to my expectations of quality or taste.

Ordered off of Uber eats. AMAZING! I had the chicken legs with Mac & cheese with yams. The rice with the legs were a little too soggy for me but the chicken was amazing! It fell off the bone perfectly! Everything was perfectly seasoned and overall amazing. The cornbread and cake were awesome too. Definitely recommend a try!

My husband and I found this gem!! Message on sign before entering..very nice touch to show appreciation for spirtuality. Service was excellent!! The young lady taking orders has an amazing attitude (even when dealing with difficult customers). That shows the quality of service they seek to have in this establishment. The men in the back preparing the food (blessed hands and you can taste the love in the food) and not to mention the other young lady adding food/sides up front. She was gracious to accommodate us for a delayed order with dessert. 1st time going but it will NOT be my last. Had baked chicken (white meat) so flavorful and juicy, rice n chicken gravy, mac n cheese, and collard greens. My husband had turkey meatloaf, rice n brown gravy, and mac n cheese.
