We got caught up in a snowstorm in Charlotte. Walking on the streets everything was closed . Was lucky that forchetta was open . They were noticeably understaffed and menu were limited. We had a lovely breakfast downstairs from the Holiday Inn at Forchetta. Everything was prepared quick and delicious. Our server kept our coffees full and gave me a to-go cup for the road. I ordered a dessert $9.75 to go. I was not at all impressed. This is not what I expected. There is no Carmel at all on or in this cake. The icecream is maybe a teaspoon. (The tiny white cup ) The popcorn was so old. The wait stay was very nice, but I should have looked in the box before leaving. I did leave a $5 tip.
