Foo Wong Garden

My first time trying this place and I'm not impressed. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered the General Chicken lunch special which is supposed to come with pork fried rice and egg roll. I upgraded to shrimp fried rice for an additional charge because I don't eat pork. Upon first glance it looks like the portion is plentiful but it's not. I had exactly 5 chuncks of meat. The rest was all vegetables. I did not receive my egg roll. The "chicken" didn't taste like chicken. It tasted like pork so I immediately spit it out. The rice was ok for what it's worth. But seeing how I'm sure they served me pork instead of chicken I was so put off I threw the box away. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is the service was fast and they were friendly.

We've made delivery from Foo Wong a bit of a tradition once a year when coming back to the States from Guantanamo Bay. They did not disappoint tonight again. Great food, huge portions and the fortune cookie said "you deserve a vacation" on our first night of vacation. Needless to say we'll be playing the lucky numbers in the lottery tomorrow.

So I only ordered plain Jane shrimp fried rice and a spring roll. The rice was super bland even with soy sauce. Pork spring roll was good. The problem is the was hair in my food. I’d already come back to work to eat it, so no time to take it back for a refund. Now I have no lunch. Not cool. I should’ve left when I saw they make you order at a window instead of being able to go in and check the place out. My first time there.
