It was my first time visiting Chicago area and this restaurant ; it’s located near hotel Comfort suites where I am staying now . I was a bit disappointed because the dish that I ordered called Salt and Pepper seafood was way too salty to eat and not very fresh. They gave me a soy sauce but it has too much sodium too ! I ordered smoothie ( pineapple and mango ) , it was too sweet . I was able to make a Margarita out of it . The liquor store is just a step away ! Who can say “ no” to such convenience. Next day I ordered stir fried shrimp with mixed veggies. I liked the dish , it was good. I just wish the shrimp was deveined but it wasn’t . I also had smoothie with pineapple and peach and it was not as sweet as pineapple with mango . Later I ordered small veggie soup and fried squid. I enjoyed both dishes . Find pics of my food .
My family and I have not been disappointed yet with this chinese restaurant. I've ordered different food selections on the menu several times coming there and have yet to not like it. Very tasty Chinese food and the order is fairly quick about 15- 30min wait. When I was sick with the cold/flu earlier this summer I was ordering a lot of soup from them and my go to soup was the veggie soup and the wonton soup their broth is really good for the throat and helped with my cold/flu. They do both take out and delivery no dine in yet due to covid. But the owners and staff are very nice. Overall good experience so far coming to this spot when you have a taste for Chinese food.
Fong's, To all whom it concerns, all that contribute any to Fong's, to produce what I ordered yesterday. As I type this, I chew a fork-full of Mongolian beef, half an eggroll and grains of fried rice. Delicious! (yes, half an egg roll) This meal reminded me of my childhood. The flavors I have searched for and ultimately given up on have finally resurfaced. I'm not sure how long I haven't known about you, but HELLO. Thank you for the feed of both a good meal and memories. -Mr. Red
