Flora's Market Run

I want to love this place but maybe they have to grow into what kind of business they are. The service is great every time I go in, which has been a lot lately since the family I nanny for lives within walking distance. It reminds me of the little shops throughout Europe when I lived there in my twenties. The Market Side: I love shopping the market to find interesting food items you can't easily find elsewhere. I found out today that they do not accept EBT which is top tier classism IMO. The cashier told me she wishes they did as she would use hers there all the time. A company that does not even pay their employees enough to not be on EBT, yet also doesn't accept it is, just wrong. I have been getting these cute little French style yogurts in glass jars that I will later turn into Christmas presents. The one I picked up today is welllll past it's expiration date of 10/24. I will now be diligent about checking dates before leaving the store. The Restaurant Side: The ambience and design

I was just passing by, didn’t even check the reviews and thought I’d stop in for lunch as I was famished. Much to my surprise they served me the best vegan bolognese I’ve ever had! Coupled with a beet juice and ginger refreshment and excellent service. The meal came out in minutes. The server also mentioned they make the noodles in house. Delightful! Highly recommend.
