I had a small order of curry goat with sauteed cabbage, instead of rice and peas, to go, for $17. Both were tasty, well prepared and the flavors were traditional. The beef patty was juicy and delicious, with a flaky pastry ... the best I've ever had. Atmosphere is cafeteria ... somewhat dreary. Food was served in a foam takeout box. Service was perfuntory. I'll go back for the food so that i can try the oxtail stew and jerk chicken.
I have never written a bad review in my life! However, the food I received yesterday and spent $30 on was the worst I have ever had, especially considering I have eaten from this Restaraunt previously and have always had a good experience.I was told the cook had changed… worse decision ever. Will not be going back. I had to throw out all of the food out! What a waste.
If you want authentic food and big, generous portions come and enjoy! I highly recommend this place!
