Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar San Clemente

We picked a beautiful day to meet at the beach. I guess if I'm truthful I would say that it was just another day in San Clemente. Because everyday is beautiful in San Clemente. The Fisherman is such a great location. Almost all of us had clam chowder and fish-and-chips. The food was outstanding. The fish had a terrific crunch and there was plenty of tartar sauce to go around. We have eaten clam chowder up-and-down the California coast and the chowder I had this particular day was as good as anything I've had anywhere else. Lastly, I want to acknowledge the great service and conversation we received from our server Alexis.

Met with some friends here. Beautiful spot on the pier. Great atmosphere and serve staff were great and very attentive. We got there around 3pm before the rush. It was very nice. It started getting busy around 5. We ate off the regular menu then notice lots of people carrying the same food and realized they have a sunset happy hour menu. It changes everyday and is very reasonably priced. We already had to much so we will most definitely be back for it in the future. We had the shrimp backer and it was flavored and cooked to perfection. It reminded me of the shrimp my dad loved when I was a boy and brought back great memories of him. The restaurant is decided into two restaurants. Oyster on the north side and regular restaurant on the south. Different menus but same quality and environment. We need to put this spot into more of our future. Sad it’s just over an hour commute for us.

Food was great, we came here with our mother for a mother's day lunch while at the beach. Seated quickly and great view along the rail. We had mussels, crab cakes, class, and the pineapple-rum mixed drink on the rocks was all very good. Features: People were not required to wear masks here.
