First Watch

First of all, if you're black and like being segregated in a back room with all other black people, then this is the place for you. It was giving very much 1950s Jim Crow. All of the black people were seated in this one room and the rest of the restaurant (what you see when you come in) was not..... Interesting. We watched in amazement after this happened all throughout our dining experience. Second of all, the manager I dealt with was condescending and not customer-friendly. After dining in, I placed a to-go order. They forgot to put a portion of my order in the bag (not to mention this was an addtl. charge)... When we got home and the bag was opened, we called the restaurant to politely notify them. The manager went back and forth like he didn't know what he was supposed to do if I wasn't returning (I don't even live close to the restaurant).... This ended with him taking my email and saying he would reach out to me (obviously annoyed with the situation... though it wouldn't exist ha

It's the Saturday before Easter so I understand the wait but because you check in and pay in the same area it caused some chaos and confusion. The food came out quickly and most of it was right but the cups were dirty and so was the silverware. The basic hot coffee was $3+ per person and they brought it out in carafe so there was no communication that they charge by cup. $12 for basic coffee was a bit steep. The food looked good but it wasn't what I was expecting for the price. It was okay but I won't seek this place out again.

My friend and I went to the First Watch. We didn't have time to take a photo from our food. busy with talking, lol, but I really enjoy the food and atmosphere. They had great customer service. ???? I really recommend this place
