The first Chinese restaurant to open in Bellwood, Illinois was "Chop Suey". It was located in an area with a large Chinese community and introduced a new style of food to the people of the small town. Since its opening, Chop Suey has become a popular dining establishment for both the Chinese and non-Chinese residents of the area.

My family and I order from here every Christmas Eve. It's our official tradition. Everything is great. The ginger chicken is my boys (of 3 including husband) favorite. The fried brown rice could be the only thing I order and I would be totally ok with it tho I also got hot and sour soup and that was to die for for. The triple delight didn't have enough shrimp and had to much broccoli but was still on point. We even got free orange delicious chicken. Thank you and Thank you again for being open and for being great too us each year. I also would like to add I ordered online and everything was perfect nothing missing. If anything the food was over stuffed and great thank you for the extra utinsels and sweet and sour sauce I totally forgot to ask. Saved my life...
Go here often so this time when i went and ordered and paid the extra for what i ordered didnt recieve what i ordered no one else was there and when i asked about the problem i was asked what did i want them to do, NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL
I keep trying to ask them to make it spicy but no spice added 3rd day in a row…had to add my own spice-_-
