Firehouse Grill & Brewery

My husband and I went out last night with a group of friends and so because of our party size, gratuity was already added. That was fine BUT the cost of the food AND drinks didn't mesh well with the poor service. My drink (a White Russian...which is just Kahlua and Cream) was watered down...and so I asked the waitress to have the bartender make me a new one...she claimed the 2nd one was just poured but again, it came to the table VERY watered down. Maybe don't use ice next time? Also, we waited much longer than the rest of our group to get served our meal which was just ONE entrée shared between the two of us to save in cost...we should have just eaten an appetizer due to the high cost of everything. FINALLY, the waitress didn't split the bills properly between guests in our group and didn't give the correct ticket to the person who ordered because she claimed the restaurant ran out of the little folders that tickets typically go in because the front of the restaurant was super busy...

Always liked the ambiance at FG&B - plenty of TVs with lots of sports action to keep up on. We sat in the bar area and was waited on promptly. Service was good, Beer was cold, and food was tasty. Buffalo Chicken Wraps were excellent as always. The Chicken Cesar Salad had great flavor, but unfortunately the portioning was rather small for an entree salad. Can't go wrong otherwise with any of the menu selections. It's all good stuff and we've tried them all.

It was just okay. We were seated promptly and got some beverages. We ordered the fried pickle spears which were delish and made excited for our main dishes. My hubs got a burger, kiddo a pizza, and I got fish & chips because I read several reviews that raved and the fish & chips. We'll, my hubs' burger was barely warm and no fries. Apparently they're extra. That was surprising that fries don't come with a burger! My fish & chips were greasy, not crispy, the fish was kinda chewy. I asked for malt vinegar and never got it. My hubs asked for Mayo & mustard for his burger, never got it. The server finally came back and was rather indifferent when we told him our meal was just okay and told him why. He brought the check, picked up my card, brought it back and dropped it on the table without any pleasantries. Not a word actually. It was our first time and I was excited because of the reviews but in a word, meh.
